On top of my love for photography is my love for traveling! My husband and I were incredibly blessed with the opportunity to travel to Italy for our 10 year anniversary. After three kids and many sleepless nights this was a much needed time to be refreshed and reconnect. We enjoyed uninterrupted meals, leisurely strolls, and sleeping in along with viewing some amazing history and art. We toured Vatican City, Rome, Lake Como, and Venice. One of my highlights was renting a car and exploring northern Italy – absolutely breath-taking views. Whenever we travel, we try to do one “crazy thing,” this trip we thought we would give Canyoning a try. Little did I know canyoning should also be called waterfall jumping. That’s what we did for nearly 5 hours, making our way down the canyon. Totally crazy and totally amazing at the same time. Another highlight was viewing the art in the Vatican, truly unbelievable. The grandeur of the paintings, sculptures, and architecture is truly incredible and totally worth seeing in person. The highlight of Rome for us was the food! Not only did we eat at some delicious restaurants, we took a cooking class and learned how to make pasta, tomato sauce, tiramisu, and some other yummy appetizers. I brought my camera with me as much as I could to capture the sites and memories! Here are some of my favorite photos from our trip!
