Before starting my photography business, I traveled around the country with my husband for his Army career. I met so many amazing people along the way. Once he got out of the Army, we settled in the small town of Erie, right outside of Boulder, Colorado. One of those amazing people I met was Caroline. Caroline and her husband, Alex, also got out of the army and settled in the same small town of Erie. I love that our paths crossed again. I was thrilled when Caroline asked me to photograph their baby girl, Isla (don’t you love that name!) She is absolutely the sweetest baby girl. The beginning of our session Isla was wide awake and I love that we were able to capture her big beautiful eyes. One of my favorite photos from her session is the one where her momma is holding her and she is looking at the camera so intently. With some cuddling she fell asleep and she gave me some of the best newborn smiles. Thank you, Caroline and Alex, for the opportunity to photograph your sweet baby girl.
