As a Meridianville maternity photographer, some of my favorite sessions are the playful ones. It makes my heart so happy when clients are able to bring a playful energy to their session and enjoy being together with nowhere else to be. So many times the world we live in will try to pull us in every direction. I love that these images will be a forever reminder for them to hold onto what is good and remember to slow down and enjoy each other along the way! It’s an added bonus being blessed with some of the best clients in Northern Alabama.
The DeVries
This will be the second baby for this sweet family. Momma was glowing and I love the gorgeous floral dress she chose for this session. Big sister was the most cheerful and is so excited to meet her new baby soon. Her precious green dress was the perfect match for her little personality and the flutter sleeves were ideal for play or posed portraits. Dad also brought his lighthearted side to this session. I love that my JLP dads get to enjoy being there for sessions too. No bribing necessary when we keep sessions light and fun. Dad, I promise you’ll have fun, too!
A Sweet Surprise Announcement
I knew I loved these three already but the fun didn’t just start with this session. In their usual lighthearted way, they surprised all of their favorite people with their pregnancy announcement.
Early on in their pregnancy, we got both sets of grandparents together for a little family session. Little did they know what was to come. After posing everyone for a picture we shouted “Lindsey’s pregnant” and captured some great photos of their reactions! I’ll never forget the joy of the day and how special it was for them to now have those memories to keep forever.
These portraits are so much more than an item to check off on a to-do list. They’re a tangible reminder of the life you’re building with your favorite people, and a tiny snippet of the legacy you’re building. I’m just so thrilled to be a small part of your adventure!
