Deciding on the location of your session is very important. Thankfully, we live in the beautiful state of Colorado and we have so many amazing options. I thought I would write a blog post to share some of my favorite locations. As a photographer, I’m always looking for the light. How does the trees filter the light? What does it look like when the sunsets behind the mountains? Soft, beautiful light truly makes all the difference. Are you excited to hear some of my favorites?
1. Mountain Background – The signature of Colorado. I believe every family should have photos in front of our gorgeous mountains.
2. In the Mountains – We drive a little deeper into the mountains we can get evergreens, big boulders, and majestic views. A little longer of a drive, but well worth the view!
3. Rustic – Old buildings, barns, stone walls add texture and a fun rustic feel.
4. Blooms – Every Spring we get beautiful white, pink, and yellow blooms. They come and go very quickly, but are so fun to capture.
5.Tall Grass or Field – I LOVE the sweetness of beautiful tall grass. It adds layers and texture to a session that I find to be lovely.
