Can you believe it’s already April? It’s incredible just how quickly this year is going by and how each year seems to go a little faster. I can’t think of a better way to finish out this first week of a new month than by sharing one of the sweetest milestone sessions. This light and airy studio session was the perfect way to celebrate this sweet baby girl turning one!
Alicia’s Light & Airy Milestone Session
I photographed Alicia for the first time as a newborn. It’s amazing how much she’s grown in just one year. Recently her parents moved away to finish their graduate degrees but made a special trip back to my Hunstville studio for Alicia’s one-year milestone session.
Sweet Alicia kept us on our toes for her entire session and at this age, it’s no surprise. The one-year milestone is one of my favorites to photograph. Becoming a toddler is often when these little ones start to test their independence. They’re always on the move and I love getting the chance to watch their tiny personalities blossom.
The Details
Alicia’s curious little gaze was so precious, and she loved playing with the wooden toys in the studio. We made sure to document moments of her playing independently and working on her standing and lots of snuggles with mom! Photographing these cherished memories for you with your babies is one of my favorite parts of these sessions. It’s about celebrating this season of life for all of you, not just your little one!
Alicia wore the most adorable floral print dress from the client wardrobe. I dove deeper into the client wardrobe experience in my last post.
