As a Decatur Alabama newborn photographer, I love documenting the tiny details as your baby grows. They’re only this tiny for such a short time. As a mom, I know the days can sometimes feel long and neverending, but the years truly do fly by.
Additionally, it’s one of the reasons I make sure to document their tiny little features. Their precious eyelashes, pouty lips, and sweet little toes, along with the snuggly photos. Combined with the rest of their newborn portraits, you’ll have classic, timeless, and authentic photographs that will stand the test of time. So one day, when they are 10, 18, and 25 you’ll be able to look back and ooh and aah over how cute they were!

Mom chose a gorgeous beaded dress in a beautiful soft gray from the studio wardrobe. For Dad, we kept things classic and polished with a pale blue button-down. I love how everything came together and let baby girl shine with her sweet bows and swaddles. Oh, and how darling is her crocheted bonnet and matching swaddle blanket?
First Baby’s Newborn Session
Overall, I loved working with the Meyers family for their first baby’s newborn session. Naturally, they are so over the moon and smitten with their new little love and it shows in every image of them together. I love the snuggly photos of Mom and Dad just cherishing her littleness the most. Additionally, I’m so glad they’ll have these timeless reminders of this precious time with their baby girl to look back on for years to come.
