Watching your sweet little ones grow is truly so special! As a Madison, Alabama baby photographer all the milestones are beautiful and bring their own adventures. But, one of my favorite ages to photograph will always be the one-year milestone session. Documenting every new season has its perks, but this one always takes the cake!
During this milestone, your little ones are really starting to come into their own tiny personalities. They’re testing their limits and maybe even starting to walk. Seeing them transform from teeny newborns into curious and independent little explorers makes my heart so happy.
Milestone Session with The Coismans
I couldn’t love this precious family more, and it was so fun celebrating their little one’s first birthday!
For this little guy’s one-year milestone session, we kept things simple, sweet, and casual with wardrobe for family portraits. Mom chose a beautiful bluish-green dress with a bit of texture. For dad, we decided on a button-down and jeans. Then for the littlest Coisman, we decided on a cream long sleeve and gray bottoms to tie everyone’s outfits together. He also wore the most precious jumper in the softest shade of cream for a handful of solo portraits. It was the perfect choice to show off his newest trick – standing on his own!
For his cake smash, we mixed it up a little for an easier clean-up! Suspenders and matching leather shoes were a perfect choice. He was a little unsure of his cake at first but it didn’t take him too long to catch on. After a few cautious tastings and looking to mom and dad to make sure it was ok, he dug right in. He loved every sweet minute!
This entire session was such a joy! Baby Coisman was so smiley and happy for the entire session and loved practicing his walking with mom and dad. I can’t wait to see these three again soon!
