As the temperatures finally start to dip below freezing and the talk of snow is all around, I can’t help but reflect on this beautiful maternity session. As a Hunstville motherhood photographer, I likely won’t be seeing these mountain views locally for sessions, but it’s always a treat to look back on.
While I adore these new views, it’s hard not to miss those snow-covered mountains and expansive views of Boulder, Colorado every now and then. Until I make my way back to Colorado for sessions again, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for just a bit of snow here, just in case.
The Ramatou family
These two scheduled a maternity and a newborn session with me shortly before our move to Alabama last year. I loved that they were up for an adventure. We were able to visit one of my favorite session locations and the short trek was well worth it, even with a chill in the air!
Momma and I planned her dresses from the studio wardrobe before our session. They’re having a little girl, so we decided to celebrate with a gorgeous floral maxi dress for her first look. For the second, we decided on a sleeveless maxi in a soft pink despite there being snow on the ground. Dad kept things classic with a button-down and slacks. Once we got started, we knew things would warm right up and we were all smiling and joy-filled by the end of our time together.
This will be the first baby for the Ramatou family and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them. They’re in for such a sweet adventure. I love being part of the excitement of these early days. Sharing these sweet moments of anticipation with you and your family is a treasure. I’m so excited to get to introduce you to their new little love very soon!
