While we’re all still patiently waiting for the first glimpses of spring, I can’t help but reminisce about the slightly warmer weather we had a few months ago. As a Huntsville fall family photographer, I’ve learned to embrace each season and all they bring.
It can be easy to fall into the cycle of willing time to just speed by in anticipation for the next one. However, each year I’m finding new joys in each season. Having regular sessions outdoors always feels like the perfect way to give thanks for each new change and take time to reflect.
As photographers, light is something we not only need but use in different ways to create beautiful portraits for your family. So, for those weeks when the sun begins setting around 4:30, it can be a bit of a challenge. But, it’s those very same weeks that bring some of the most beautiful backdrops!
The Kozina Family
We could not have asked more a more perfect fall day for the Kozina family session. The leaves were vibrant and brought so much color and depth to their portraits. Not to mention, they were a lot of fun to play in! I love all of the genuine smiles from the kids and how much they enjoyed the time to play. The memories they made during their fall family session are sure to bring them so much joy for years to come!
The Kozinas did a wonderful job of choosing their wardrobe for this session. We decided to stick with neutrals so the environment could have a moment to shine without things getting too busy. It’s always a great idea to consider your location when planning your outfits for your session, and this is a perfect example.
