As the holiday season continues to unfold, it’s hard not to feel giddy when I check the mail each day. This time of year is when I’m reminded the most how special it is to be a Madison Alabama family photographer. The reminder comes in the form of assorted envelopes with a thoughtfully designed Christmas card tucked cozily inside each one.
Each is evidence of lives lived over the last twelve months and the growth in each home. Some bring the announcement of new babies. Some show tiny faces that have lost just enough baby chubbiness to make you wonder how the year goes by so quickly.
With each card also comes a tangible reminder of what all of this celebrating is really about. This season is a time for connecting and for reaching out. It’s a time for cherishing the beautiful gifts we’ve been given throughout the year and forgiving and being present. It’s about being grateful for the good and remaining hopeful during the challenges.
These cards are a beautiful reminder that someone was thinking of us. Being even a small part of helping you spread that cheer is the biggest blessing!
The Robertson Family
I couldn’t have been more thrilled to document a few card-worthy moments with the Robertsons. I’ve been photographing this sweet family since their youngest was a newborn. It’s always a joy to see the love and connection between them and am so blessed to be on their Christmas card list each year!
The sunset light for this session was the perfect addition for this cheerful bunch. We had the best time catching up between snuggles. Mom did the best job coordinating outfits for their session, and I loved the fresh mix of flowers and the beautiful shades of blue and cream they chose.
